Unpublished Gregorian pieces from the baroque era performed by the nuns who discovered them.On the occasion of the four hundred years of it's foundation, the Benedictine Congregation of Our Lady of Calvary wished to life unpublished music manuscripts preserved in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in the libraries of monasteries. To "sing these archives," the Benedictine community has entrusted two musicians Carole Matras and Manolo González, the task of transcribing the manuscripts and guide the sisters in the study and restoration of this song forgotten for four centuries. The recording of these songs is the result of a singular adventure and rich cordial exchanges between the community and musicians.
